Firing 6mm BB plastic bullets, these replicas are intended for 'plinking' and general fun gunning. The power is measured in joules, one joule being the maximum power of any model and with some as low as 0.02 joules. To provide a comparison, 0.5 joules equals the bounce back force of a tennis ball dropped onto a hard surface from 1 metre high. 1 joule is equal to 1.4ft lb. Manufactured mostly in plastic and high impact ABS resin, (some with metal components), Air Soft Guns® are accurate in every detail to that of the actual official firearm models.
